English Society 2013-2014

Vice-Chairperson: Ho Hiu Lam, Icy (5A) and Fong Lok Hang, Alex (5A)
One of the major targets of English Society is to enhance students’ English via a wide range of activities and learning experiences. We have planned a lot of new measures for our students.
“The more you use the language, the better you get.” Therefore, we will provide students with a lot of opportunities to use English.
The game days take place every Tuesday and Thursday. Students take turns to have fun with our NET teachers after school every week. Our NET teacher, Ms Jamil, has come up with thousands of interesting English games for our students. There is no doubt that they all wear a smile on their face.
The English Ambassador Club has successfully recruited over 20 members. They are devoted members who try their best to help promote English learning in our school. They helped in our first English Speaking Day, the theme of which was Halloween. It took place on 1st November, 2013. There were different activities including interviewing teachers, trick or treating, lantern carving competition and candy tasting etc. It achieved tremendous success as the school hall was crowded with student interviewers who were busy interviewing teachers in English and students who made their own Jack-o-lanterns.
Please have a look at the photos taken that day.
