教師經常提高警覺，確保實驗室安全，並提醒學生在進行實驗時採取適當安全措施。令學習愉快和有效，安全的工作環境至為重要。教師亦參考有關實驗室安全的指引。扼要來說，明確指示、良好實驗室秩序、密切監察、正確操作技巧和適當安全措施都是促進安全的要素。
學年開始時，教師安排教節去討論實驗室安全問題並進行模擬走火警演習，繼而養成在實驗室中遵守安全規則的習慣，讓學生認識到在實驗室中確保自己和他人安全的重要性。
At the start of the year, teachers have arranged lessons for discussing laboratory safety issues and conducting fire drill. This serves to nurture students in developing a habit of following safety regulations, so as to facilitate students in understanding the importance of securing safety for oneself and individuals in the laboratory.
