Mission and Features
The Marching Brass Band focuses on performing marching band routines with strong beats and diverse choreography. Through music, students build confidence, train their memory, and develop team spirit. The band also encourages students to engage in campus life, communicate with others, and serve the community.
The Band is frequently invited to perform as guest performers, lead opening ceremonies, participate in inter-district school performances, and join different regional parades. Students are also selected to represent the band at various world-class and international events, such as the birthday celebration of the Birthday of Tin Hau, the Hong Kong Handover Ceremony, exchange activities within the country, and international Lion's Club band parades.
The band is responsible for major school events such as the sports day, graduation ceremony, music week, and other music-related activities. They are highly praised and supported by the public, providing students with unforgettable experiences. The band hopes that students can establish strong friendships with their bandmates through music and find like-minded individuals. Learning to play a musical instrument and mastering it is a lengthy process, but the band aims to inspire students to love music and explore other artistic fields. By integrating art into daily life, the band helps students cultivate a fulfilling and quality life.
