Our school's dragon boat team has once again achieved great success! In the U24 Youth Championships, the dragon boat team put on an impressive performance, winning the championship in the Men's Small Dragon category for the 100-meter race and securing the third place in the Men and Women's Mixed Dragon category for the 100-meter race. This outstanding performance has earned them a spot in the U24 Open Dragon Boat Invitational, which will be held in June at Victoria Harbour. .

 

Congratulations to our school's dragon boat team achieved excellent results in the inter-school competition this year, winning two championships, two runner-up positions, and one third place. We won the Men's Championship Gold Medal in the Small Dragon category, the Men's Championship Silver Cup in the Small Dragon category, the Women's Championship Gold Cup in the Standard Dragon category, the Mixed Championship Gold Cup in the Standard Dragon category, the Men's Championship Gold Cup in the Standard Dragon category, the Mixed Championship Silver Cup in the Small Dragon category, and the Women's Championship Gold Cup in the Small Dragon category.

 

Congratulations to 5C Wu Wai Kwan, 5B Chan Tzs Ming, Yuan Chung Ning, Trinh Ngoc Nhi, 4C So Sze Chun, 4B Chan Chun Lok, 2C Man King Yin for winning the 2nd runner-up and the Caring, Compassionate and Cohesive Award in the 2023-2024 Sham Shui Po District Inter-school Creative Technology Competition.

Congratulations to Wai Kiu College students for receiving multiple awards in the "2022/23 Secondary School Banner Design Competition" organized by the Traffic Department of West Kowloon. The winners are as follows: Champion: 6B FANG Kam Sen; Third Place: 5B TRINH Ngoc Nhi; Merit Awards: 4B PENG Jia Wen, 5A CHAN Tsz Yau, 5A SAFIYUR RAHMAN Aqsa, 5B NONG Shanghua, 5B YUAN Chung Ning, 6B GONG Yunyi, 6C LAI Xinlin.

 

Congratulations to students NONG Shanghua and YUAN Chung Ning from Class 5B for their outstanding performance in the "Together Creating Dreams - 4th Children's Painting Competition" organized by China Resources (Holdings) Company Limited. They both received bronze awards. Their artworks are currently on display outside the Jockey Club Lecture Hall at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.

 

We are pleased to offer congratulations to 5C Risky Lau and 3C Xian Junhao for winning the first runner-up in the “International Youth Tech Olympics 2023 – Drone Manual Pilot (Secondary)”. Applauses are also given to 5C Lau Kwai Hung, 3B Lin Yi and 1A Lam Tsz Lung for winning the second runner-up, and to 4C Wu Wai Kwan and 4B Chan Tsz Ming for achieving Merit in the competition.

 

Good news! Chiu Kin Ping from 5C, represented our school in the finals of the National Security Education Online Learning Platform: "Pat Pat Play" Online Competition, an event organized by the Education Bureau to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law. Chiu has won the third runner up in the Hong Kong Secondary School Division.

 

Congratulations to two of our Form 6 graduates who have been accepted by the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong respectively through the School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme (SNDAS). The name of students and their programs are as follows:

Great news! 5C students, Shen Xiaolan, WANG Wanching , and Xu Xinqi, stood out in the "China Taiping Cup · I Love My Motherland" Hong Kong Inter-School Essay and Putonghua Recitation Competition, winning the third prize.

 

Congratulations to Felix Lau and Paco Yu from 5C for winning the first runner-up in the simulator control match (senior secondary category) and second runner-up in the overall tournament (senior secondary category) of the “22-23 Hong Kong Flight Simulator School Tournaments” in the Business-School Partnership Programme organized by the Education Bureau. A round of applause should also be given to Lin Yi and Chan Chun Lok from 3B for winning the champion in the time trial (junior secondary group).

 

Warm congratulations to our school's 5C class student, Xu Yaqi, for being awarded the scholarship of the ‘CLP ENERGY FOR BRIGHTER TOMORROWS AWARD 2023’ organized by the Hong Kong Youth Association, and to Yu Jun leung, also from 5C class, for receiving a certificate of commendation from the organization.

Warm congratulations to our school's student YIM Tsz-long (5A) for winning the third place in the Secondary School category in the MTR x Dinosaur Adventure Art Competition in 2022.

 

Warm congratulations to our school's student YU Chun-leung (5C) for receiving the "NG Teng-fong scholarship" awarded by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.

 

Warm congratulations to our school's students CHAN Ho-yin (5B), XIE Hao-lin (3B), and YAO Haobiao (3B) for being selected for the Hong Kong U16 Dodgeball Team. They also won the 2nd runner-up in the World Cup after defeating England in Egypt in December.
