| 惠僑一直重視學生的國民身份認同，以不同途徑鼓勵學生到內地探訪，積極參與粵港交流活動，深入認識國情。 惠僑師生無懼風雨，到達廣州市人大常委會參觀訪問。 一衆未來國家棟梁認識廣州經濟發展情況和方針，獲益良多，反思自身在推進粵港澳大灣區建設的角色。 此行同學亦參觀了暨南大學，與院校内來自香港的良師益友進行交流，認識內地的發展潛力。 師生們更參觀了國内環保科技發展及重要經濟產業，見證國家在落實經濟、資源及生態安全的決心，獲益匪淺。
Wai Kiu College has always put emphasis on the sense of national identity of the students. The school encourages students to visit the Mainland and actively participate in exchange activities with fellows in Guangdong through different means, enabling students to understand more about national affairs. Through thick and thin, teacher and students from Wai Kiu College visited the Guangdong National People’s Congress Standing Committee. Out future pillars of the society benefited a lot from learning more about the economic development and related policies, so as to reflect on their roles in promoting the blooming of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. During the trip, students also visited Jinan University and exchanged ideas with the mentors from Hong Kong who were currently studying there. Through in-depth discussions, students learnt more about the developmental potential in the Mainland. Finally teacher and students visited environmental technology development and important economic industry, so as to witness the determination of China in implementing economic, resources and ecological security, bringing the trip to a fruitful end. |
