慶賀端午 包粽子工作坊 Celebrate Dragon Boat Festival - Zongzi Making Workshop

端午節是中國傳統節日之一，也是中國文化的重要組成部分。為了促進華語與非華語學生之間的共融，共同體驗中華文化，秉持「博文雅舍」傳承文化的精神，中文組今年舉辦了「慶賀端午 包粽子工作坊」，特聘校外專業導師到校教授包粽子的技巧，讓同學們在端午節前學習這傳統賀節習俗。在工作坊開始前，老師先為同學講解端午節的由來、歷史背景和風俗習慣。過程中，華語同學可以用英語向非華語同學解釋包粽子的過程，讓他們更好地理解和參與其中。而在工作坊結束後，同學們更可把自己親手製作的粽子帶回家，與家人一起品嚐，共賀佳節。 學生們通過合作、交流和體驗中國文化，增進了友誼，培養了尊重和包容的態度。這樣的活動不僅豐富了學生的學習經歷，也促進了文化傳承和跨文化交流的發展。 Dragon Boat Festival, one of the traditional Chinese festivals, holds great significance in Chinese culture. To foster integration and provide a shared experience of Chinese culture for both Chinese-speaking and non-Chinese-speaking students, the Chinese Language Department organized the "Celebrate Dragon Boat Festival - Zongzi Making Workshop" under the spirit of "Bo Wen Ya She" cultural heritage. We invited professional external instructors to teach the art of making zongzi, allowing students to learn about this traditional holiday custom before the festival. Prior to the workshop, the teacher explained the origins, historical background, and customs of the Dragon Boat Festival to the students. During the workshop, Chinese-speaking students had the opportunity to explain the process of making zongzi in English to their non-Chinese-speaking peers, enabling better understanding and participation. At the end of the workshop, students could take home the zongzi they personally made, sharing and celebrating the festival with their families. Through cooperation, communication, and experiencing Chinese culture, students enhanced their friendships and developed attitudes of respect and inclusiveness. Such activities not only enriched their learning experiences but also promoted cultural heritage and facilitated cross-cultural exchanges.
