The Peer Power Student Gatekeeper Training Programme

To enhance the awareness of mental health among teachers and students, promote mutual support and care between peers and teachers, and cultivate a campus culture of kindness and mutual assistance, the Education Bureau collaborated with the Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service to organize the " Peer Power Student Gatekeeper Training Programme", which our school actively participated in. In the program, students were trained to become ‘Student Gatekeeper’, who can detect their peers' emotions and stress early and provide assistance.

These ‘student gatekeepers’ also promoted mental health activities within the school, enabling all teachers and students to have a better understanding of mental health and learn how to manage their own emotional stress. Students also gained valuable experience from participating in the promotion activities.
